Kalamazoo, MI to Glenview, IL (near Chicago)
Today we drove to Glenview, IL to now move ahead of the storm. We are either chasing these storms or having to slow our trip to let them pass through.
While we were in Glenview, IL, we were able to meet up with some of our Maui friends (Tom & Kathy), who live near Chicago. This was a whirlwind of a visit. We are so glad we were able to at least meet up for dinner at one of there favorite restaurants (Johnny's Kitchen & Tap)...how appropriate. The restaurant was only 1/2 mile from our hotel (yes, we walked both ways). The food was great, company was better but, we are so sad we totally forgot to get a picture of all of us for my blog. -:((.
