June 13, 2019 - Thursday
Hamilton, MT

Today, Lois and I went on a hike part way around Hamilton's near by lake, Lake Como.  We met up with the Camp Host who were very kind in letting us know to beware of the bears and on the trail we were walking there was an Eagles nest.  Well, we never saw a bear or Eagles nest.  I think the Eagles nest was an Osprey.  The boys went golfing again at Hamilton Golf Course.

After our long hike, we decided it was time for lunch so we went to the Spice of Life in Hamilton
After lunch we decided to take a tour of the Marcus Daly Mansion.  Tours start every hour on the hour.  We had about 45 minutes to spare so we went for a stroll in downtown Hamilton and got a coffee at the River Rising Coffee Shop.
Now that we are amped up again, we are on our way to the Marcus Daly Mansion for our 2:00 pm tour.  Marcuse Daly was an Irish born businessman who was known as one of the three "Copper Kings".
Attached is the link for the history reading:
A lot of the furniture is not original since the last heir's (great, great grandchildren) were unable to come up with their portion of the Estate Tax, they sold a lot of the furniture.  The preservation team has been able to get some of the furniture back and continues to do so.

Well, I had a very enjoyable day with Lois as Johnny had a great day with the boys golfing.
We ended our day with Johnny Bar-B-Queing a Tri Tip at Lois's house.  The weather was perfect for us to sit outside and enjoy our meal and great conversations.
Thank you to Lois and Bill for entertaining us for the past 4 days.
Lois...THANK-YOU for letting us charge Tessie for the 4 days!!!!
