Albany, NY - Lake George, NY

After being up till after midnight, we slept in, knowing we only had a 1 hour drive to Lake George, NY with a 50 minute charge for Tessie. 

Lake George is in the Adirondacks National Forest.  After we arrived in town, we planned out a route around the lake knowing we would arrive to early to check-in to our hotel.  As we were driving, we spotted a golf course.  STOP!!!  Let's check it out.  Sagamore Golf Course.  Looks like a great place to play so we checked in and they had a room for us to change our clothes, and we were off to enjoy a beautiful day on the course.

After golf, we checked into our hotel room.  WOW!!!  What a great Courtyard by Marriott.  The service  was welcoming and very pleasant, room was very spacious with 2 King Beds, accommodations were awesome and a balcony with a view of the lake just topped it off.

Lake George was very quit but, after Memorial Day this town of over 3700 will be hustling with families enjoying boat rides on the lakes, beaches and the shoreline restaurants.
