Washington DC to Philadelphia, PA (staying in Mt Laurel, NJ)
Our 2 day stay at The Westin Georgetown was very relaxing in our 1 bedroom suite.
Getting out of Washington DC really tested our nerves today. It took us a 1/2 hour to get onto the interstate which, should have probably only taken us 15 minutes. This was due to getting turned around and lost. Once on the interstate, we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip through three states (Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey). I95 wasn't that interesting and we did bypasses to avoid the Tolls which was a nice break through these small Townships in Maryland. The scenery was of what we have been seeing recently so I did videos today instead of pictures. We arrived at our hotel at 5:30pm, ate dinner at Cracker Barrel (not my favorite place but within walking distance). John had never been to one so he wanted the experience. It was just as I remembered...Terrible!!! OK...Double Decker hop on, hop off bus tomorrow in Philadelphia.
