Glenwood Springs, Co to Lafayette, Co
We had a very comfortable rest at the Residence Inn in Glenwood Springs, CO. Did not have time to tour the town but, heard it's know for it's Mineral Springs. The next morning we traveled to our friend's Jane and Ron who live in Lafayette, Co. On our way we passed the most popular towns of Avon, Vail and Breckenridge.
We arrived in the early afternoon to Jane and Ron's. This was a wonderful break from the Hotel room stays. After being treated to a homemade luncheon which was absolutely delicious, we journeyed our way to Boulder Colorado. We took a stroll down Pearl Street which is closed off to vehicle traffic and is the center of town. After our stroll, they showed us other site of the town.
We ended our evening coming back to the house and Ron bar-b-que'n up some dinner, enjoying some spirits and talking old time stories.
