April 18, 2019 - Thursday
Arches Nat'l Park - Moab, Ut

We started our morning early into Arches Nat'l Park.  Gonna warn you...this post is about ARCHES if you didn't guess already.  We drove into the further part of the park and started our Arch tour at Landscape Arch.  Our self guided tour represents 8 Arches and there are many more which you can hike into.  Our total hike for today was 7 miles.  Ok...here we go with Arch pictures.

Landscape Arch

Pine Tree Arch
(received it's name from the Pine Tree growing in the middle...kinda a small one)

Tunnel Arch

Broken Arch
We were expecting this Arch to being broken in the middle.  Not sure why it's called Broken Arch.  Looks intact to us.   Hmmm

Sand Arch
This was a beautiful very short hike in the sand.  The lighting was amazing.

Delicate Arch
The hike to this Arch was 3 miles and we didn't have enough time.  It also starts in a different area then the viewpoints..  We took the photo from the "Lower Arch Viewpoint".  We did try and hike to the "Upper Arch Viewpoint" but this was 1/2 mile hike straight up...NO THANK YOU!!!  It wasn't the up that bothered us it was the down that was a bit harsh on the knees.

Double Arch

North/South Windows

There are some extras,  Garden of Eden, Balanced Rock, Courthouse Rock and Park Ave

Our day ended at the Arches National Park after 5 hours.  Now we are driving to Glenwood Springs, CO and will arrive in 3 1/2 Hours
